Abstract

 The prevalence of hypertension is increasing, not only occurs in the elderly or adults, hypertension also occurs in adolescence. Risk factors for hypertension are lack of eating vegetables and fruits by 95.5%, proportion of lack of physical activity 35.5%, proportion of smoking 29.3%, proportion of central obesity 31% and proportion of general obesity 21.8%. Healthy lifestyle changes can be made if individuals are aware and understand the health needs of each individual. One of the preventive measures to prevent hypertension is by screening hypertension which is developed into the Hipetnsi Si- Bersih smartphone android application. This study aims to develop early detection of hypertension. This study used research and development (RnD) design. The research instrument used was a questionnaire, the population in this study was early adolescents and late adolescents with details of 15 to 22 years as many as 60 respondents using the accidental sampling technique method. While data analysis uses quantitative descriptive in the form of a percentage of respondents involved in this study. The results of the analysis in this study with the user quality category there were 80% of respondents who rated it very good, the effective user category was obtained 75% of respondents rated it very good, and from the overall evaluation results 85% of respondents rated this application very worthy of use. The conclusion in this study is that the andoid-based application of Hypertension Si Ber-Sih is feasible to be used to detect hypertension early.
