FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KECEMASAN IBU PRIMIGRAVIDA TRIMESTER III MENGHADAPI PERSALINAN DI UPTD PUSKESMAS KABUPATEN KARAWANG

Labor is a process or event that ends with the expulsion of the fetus, this birth is eagerly awaited by married couples especially those who do not have children, but the unpreparedness of the mother in preparing for childbirth will cause special anxiety for the mother. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the anxiety of third trimester primigravida mothers at the UPTD Public Health Center in Karawang Regency. Materials and methods in this study used descriptive analytic method with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were third trimester primigravida mothers at the UPTD Public Health Center Karawang Regency with a population of 141 and a sample of 42, the sampling technique was purposive sampling. Data were collected through a questionnaire. The time of the study began in April-May 2019. After statistical tests were carried out there was no relationship between age and anxiety, the value was obtained (p = 0.070), there was a significant relationship between history of pregnancy check-ups and anxiety (p = 0.003), knowledge and anxiety (p = 0.070). = 0.000), family support with anxiety (p = 0.000). From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the history of prenatal care, knowledge and family support are factors related to anxiety, while age is not a factor associated with anxiety. It is suggested to the UPTD Public Health Center of Karawang Regency that this research serve as a basis for reference and input in order to continue to facilitate, improve services and motivate pregnant women to reduce maternal anxiety before delivery.
