PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA BOOKLET TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN IBU HAMIL TENTANG PENCEGAHAN STUNTING DI POSYANDU STIKES HORIZON KARAWANG

Abstract

Background: The health and nutritional conditions of the mother before and during pregnancy and after delivery affect fetal growth and the risk of stunting. Other factors that influence the mother are the mother's body posture (short), pregnancies that are too close together, the mother being a teenager, and inadequate nutritional intake during pregnancy. The nutrition obtained from the time a baby is born certainly has a big influence on its growth, including the risk of stunting. Objective: To determine the effect of health education using booklet media on pregnant women's knowledge about preventing stunting at Posyandu Stikes Horizon Karawang. Method: This research uses a one group pre test – post test design. The population in this study were all 1st trimester pregnant women in Batujaya Village with n = 16. The instrument used was a questionnaire and used univariate analysis, and bivariate analysis using the Paired T-test (T-Dependent). Results: Statistical test results Paired T Test (T-Dependent) Sign. Rank is P value = 0.000 (α <0.05), Conclusion: There is an influence of health education regarding childbirth preparation on the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women in the 1st trimester
