KEPATUHAN PERAWAT KAMAR BEDAH DALAM PENGISIAN SURGICAL SAFETY CHECKLIST DI RSUD BAYU ASIH KABUPATEN PURWAKARTA TAHUN 2022

Abstract

 Surgery is a curative action that aims to save lives, but also contains threats that can endanger lives, so the government made a regulation to ensure the safety of patients undergoing surgery, namely the surgical safety checklist, a checklist used before a patient is operated on. Compliance is Obeying the rules set in the perioperative implementation. In the surgical safety checklist, it is divided into 3 phases, namely the sign-in phase, the time-out phase, and the sign-out phase. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the compliance of the operating room nurses in filling the surgical safety checklist at the sign-in, time-out and sign-out phases in the Bayu Asih District General Hospital, Purwakarta Regency. By using this type of quantitative research with a descriptive approach and a way of measuring with structured observation. As for the respondents, there were 15 nurses who served as circulating nurses. The results showed that there were non-compliance of nurses in the sign in, time out and sign out phases
