FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KECEMASAN IBU PRIMIGRAVIDA TRIMESTER III MENGHADAPI PERSALINAN DI UPTD PUSKESMAS KABUAPTEN KARAWANG TAHUN 2021

Abstract

 Background: Childbirth is a process or event that ends with the expulsion of the fetus. This birth is eagerly awaited by married couples, especially those who do not have children, but the mother's unpreparedness in preparing for childbirth will cause anxiety for the mother. Objective: Aims to determine the factors associated with anxiety of third trimester primigravida mothers at the UPTD Puskesmas Karawang Regency. The materials and methods in this research used analytical descriptive methods with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study was primigravida mothers in the third trimester at the UPTD Puskesmas Karawang Regency with a population of 141 and a sample of 42, the sampling technique was purposive sampling. Data was collected through questionnaires. The research period began in April-May 2021. Result: After conducting statistical tests, there was no relationship between age and anxiety, a value was obtained (p=0.070), there was a significant relationship between pregnancy check-up history and anxiety (p=0.003), knowledge and anxiety (p =0.000), family support with anxiety (p=0.000). Conclusion: From the research results, it can be concluded that history of pregnancy checks, knowledge and family support are factors related to anxiety, while age is not a factor related to anxiety. It is recommended to the Karawang Regency Health Center UPTD that this research be used as a basis for reference and input to continue facilitating, improving services and motivating pregnant women to reduce maternal anxiety levels before giving birth
