Abstract

The still high number of emergency cases occurring in the community is related to disease cases that contribute to the increase in emergency conditions in the community such as cardiovascular, neurologic, metabolic and other emergencies, lack of information about initial treatment and lack of knowledge and skills about first aid or initial treatment in emergency cases. to society. The aim of this research is to identify the effect of training on the level of knowledge and Self-Efficacy of training participants in handling emergencies in the household. This research design uses a One Group Pre Test-Post Test Design approach with a sample of 15 respondents. Statistical Test, Paired t-test. The research results showed that the average knowledge of respondents was 2,733 with a standard deviation of 2,314. The average Self-Efficacy of respondents is 4,400 with a standard deviation of 4,532. There is a significant influence between knowledge and self-efficacy before and after being given training. Recommendations for the need to form emergency response health cadres in community
